Congressman Alex X. Mooney Meets with Small Business in Montgomery

Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) met employees at Mining Motors, a family-owned, client-driven small business in Kanawha County. Mining Motors provides clients with a variety of services, including electric motor services, specialty repair services, cable reel services and specialty products. Congressman Mooney, with Mining Motors employees, discussed the impact of COVID-19 on their business and the state of the coal industry under President Donald J. Trump.

"I enjoyed my visit to Mining Motors in Montgomery. It was terrific meeting with employees of this family-owned company. The small business has grown during the Trump Administration after the unfortunate economic downturn from eight years of the Obama Administration's War on Coal. Mining Motors is a great American small business and economic asset to the coal industry here in West Virginia," said Congressman Alex Mooney.
